Randoms and a recipe

Doug has been telling me since my birthday (which is the beginning of July) that he couldn't get my birthday gift just yet. Apparently he was waiting for our contracts to be up for renewal with AT&T, which happened in September. So we headed to the AT&T store here in Del Rio, and lo and behold they had just gotten a new shipment of the iPhone 4!!!......in Del Rio people! We both got one so that we can use the "Face Time" while he is away. We looooooove them!!!

Updates: My parents are moving to Shreveport, LA in October, which is good for them and bad for me! They only live 2 1/2 hours away right now, and Shreveport will be a 10 hour drive from here! Booooooo. My Dad is super excited about his job though, and they have some really great friends there so that's good. Maybe Doug will get to fly the B-52 and we will end up at the same base......only in my dream world. Doug leaves next Saturday for more training in CO, and I'm off to visit family/help Mom and Dad pack. Doug's start date for Pilot Training was pushed back yet again due to weather/maintenance issues. He is now set to start at the end of January.....let's hope is stays that way. Aaaaaaand, I went to the Chiropractor yesterday and found out I have scoliosis and arthritis........that would explain all the back pain and headaches. Did I mention I'm only 25.....what's up with that? Does this mean I have to start taking old people vitamins? haha Oh geez! In other news, I am so happy it is almost Fall! In honor of my favorite season, here is a recipe for my favorite Fall treat!
